Any Individual or Entity with a physical address in Nevada may become a Commercial Registered Agent by submitting a one-time filing of Commercial Registered Agent Listing Statement and $75.00 with the Office of the Secretary of State.  Once filed as a Commercial Registered Agent an agent will receive monthly electronic notification of all entities due for that filing period and will have access to preprinted lists.  A change of information registered in the initial listing statement (name, address, etc.) may be done by filing a Statement of Change by Commercial Registered Agent and fee.  Such a change will be reflected on each Entity represented by the Agent without further action.

Any Individual or Entity with a physical address in Nevada may be a Noncommercial Registered Agent.  There is no registration or fee to obtain this status.  A Noncommercial Registered Agent wishing to change its own information on record (name, address, etc.) must do so by submitting a separate Statement of Change by Noncommercial Registered Agent and fee for each Represented Entity.  A Noncommercial Registered Agent my elect to receive monthly electronic notification of all entities due, with NO access to preprinted lists, by filing an Electronic Notification Authorization Form.

If the Represented Entity has a physical address in Nevada it may elect to serve as its own registered agent by setting forth a specific Office or Position (President, Office Manager, Owner, Controller, etc.) within the Entity as the Registered Agent contact.  A Represented Entity can change its own contact information or appoint a new Registered Agent by filing a Statement of Change of Registered Agent by Represented Entity.

Please note:  Naming a proper person within the position (i.e. John Smith, Controller) will be treated as appointing a person as a Noncommercial Registered Agent rather than designating a position within the Represented Entity.
